- F10 Disinfectant used to control disease outbreaks of Avian Influenza and European Swine Fever in 2005.
F10 disinfectant is the product of choice to implement biosecurity control measures in Controlled Diseases. This year it has been used in both Avian Influenza and Swine Fever outbreaks by Dept of Health and State Veterinary personnel as well as by farm staff implementing a strict regime of biosecurity to limit the spread of these diseases. These viral organisms are well within the capacity of F10 disinfectant to kill them and do it quickly. In addition to F10's killing ability it is its user friendliness that sets it apart from other products. Because it is non-irritating and non-corrosive it is used from shower in and shower out applications, to vehicle spraying and fogging of buildings and houses.
